Up for auction is a 1995 BMW 740IL 4.0L Automatic RWD with 102,874 actual miles. The engine has been replaced with a motor that has 87K miles (receipt available). The new motor came out of a wrecked BMW that was hit in the side. It was a complete engine exchange. The motor was not disassembled. The power steering pump, a/c pump, and the alternator are original to the car. The new motor purrs like a kitten!! No noises, no leaks, no smoke.
This BMW is FULLY LOADED and in good condition with minimal wear for it s age. The interior is clean, the black leather is gorgeous and in excellent condition. The wood trim is in good condition with no fading. It has some minor cracking on shifter knob and some minor scratches on console between driver and passenger seats. This has been a non-smoker’s vehicle and it shows - carpets, dash and headliner are in great shape, as is the cargo area. AC blows COLD.
Exterior paint is nice and shiny with some minor surface scratches and a few dings throughout, but these are barely noticeable as you can see in the pics. There is a 3 inch long dent in the front right fender and about a 1 inch diameter dent in the back fender. White pin striping could stand to be redone. This car has NO RUST. All rubber molding around doors / windows is in excellent condition with the exception of the right rear passenger which has some cracking.
